The Sixtyone is a new website to discover music. Tracks are ranked based on a "bumping" system. You like a song, you bump it and it moves up in the rankings. Pretty cool stuff. Check out the website. And while you're there, give one of my songs a bump.
Need Musicians for a New Band

Shawn and I are putting a new band together and we're looking for a couple of other musicians. Some originals, some covers. Stuff in the vein of Wilco, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, The Lemonheads, The Jayhawks, etc.
We need a solid bass player and a second guitarist or keyboard player, or both. If you can sing a harmony or bring some originals to the table that's a huge plus.
You can check out some acoustic demos of stuff we've done here.
We've got some rehearsal space in town. We're just wanting to play a couple of gigs a month. Maybe get some recording done. Nothing that's going to keep anyone too busy.
