I think there's a brief mention of me in this Friday's Joplin Globe. Lynn Meredith from Proto Kaw did an interview for a feature on the band and their CD release party coming up in a couple of weeks. So grab a copy if you're local.
I'm trying to finish up The Winter EP in time to have a few available at Proto Kaw's party. It's close. Just have to finish up a couple of tracks and the album art.
Tomorrow night, The Bottlerockets and Big Smith at the Bluenote in Columbia. Should be a good New Year's show. If anyone else is going, say howdy if you happen to see me.

Posted some new mp3s on the music page today. New demos of old songs mostly. These are the recordings I've been given to friends so they can learn the songs before we lay down their tracks for The Winter EP.
Something Jones

Sounds like Something Jones may be regrouping. Shawn called Sunday morning (and woke me up) to say that one of his friends wants to play bass with us. We're going to get together and run through some songs later this week. if it works out, we'll get a set together and start booking shows for late winter and into the spring.
